Marissa - Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Marissa has been working at TTDC since 2021, she has been an assistant since she graduated from Ivy Tech with her associate's in Dental Assisting in 2013. She has certificates for expanded functions, coronal polishing, nitrous oxide administration, and caries prevention. She prides herself in providing the best of care to her patients and making them feel at ease. Marissa loves seeing the smiles on patients when they are happy with the results of their treatment! She continues to strive to learn new techniques and new technology in the forever-evolving dental field.
Marissa enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Things she enjoys are traveling, visiting local breweries, going on walks, playing with kids outside, or anything to keep her little one busy!
Katie - Patient Care Coordinator
Katie is our warm and welcoming Patient Care Coordinator, known for her enthusiasm and dedication to ensuring that every patient feels comfortable and well-informed. With a passion for helping patients navigate everything from appointment details to insurance questions, Katie’s goal is to make every visit as smooth and stress-free as possible. She is also a skilled Dental Hygienist, having graduated in 2016, and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. Outside of work, Katie is a busy mom of two active young children and enjoys coaching her son’s wrestling team. In her free time, she loves fishing—though she's not a fan of bugs and worms! Katie’s friendly demeanor and commitment to both her family and her work make her a valued member of our team.
Brandy - Dental Hygienist
Brandy Carey is a dedicated Dental Hygienist with over 12 years of experience. Passionate about her profession, she thrives on building strong connections with her patients and takes pride in educating them about oral health and wellness.
Outside of her career, Brandy is a devoted mother to three energetic boys. Her family is her greatest joy, and together, they love embarking on camping adventures, exploring the great outdoors, and creating cherished memories. Balancing her professional and personal life with grace, Brandy exemplifies compassion, commitment, and a zest for life.
Corey Hurcomb – General Manager
Hi, I'm Corey—Dr. Hurcomb’s husband and the General Manager here at the practice. By day, I work at a local engineering and manufacturing company, where I lead a team focused on creating innovative solutions. By night (and weekends), I help keep things running smoothly at the dental office.
My role here is all about making sure our patients and staff feel comfortable and cared for—from managing operations to ensuring the office runs efficiently. I enjoy bringing a bit of my technical background to support the behind-the-scenes work that helps our team shine.
Outside of work, I enjoy working on projects around the house and office, exploring the latest in tech, and spending quality time with our family.
