Kristie - Dental Hygienist
Kristie is one of our talented dental hygienists at Tulip Tree Dental Care. She has been working in the dental field since 2007 and joined our team in 2014. In addition to her work here, Kristie works as a part-time faculty member at Ivy Tech Community College in the Dental Hygiene and Assisting Program.
She has a bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene and loves to learn about new techniques and technology. Kristie enjoys helping her patients have a healthy mouth by educating them about their oral health.
When she’s not helping patients feel comfortable, Kristie enjoys kayaking, running, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
Marissa - Expanded Functions Dental Assistant
Marissa has been working at TTDC since 2021, she has been an assistant since she graduated from Ivy Tech with her associate's in Dental Assisting in 2013. She has certificates for expanded functions, coronal polishing, nitrous oxide administration, and caries prevention. She prides herself in providing the best of care to her patients and making them feel at ease. Marissa loves seeing the smiles on patients when they are happy with the results of their treatment! She continues to strive to learn new techniques and new technology in the forever-evolving dental field.
Marissa enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Things she enjoys are traveling, visiting local breweries, going on walks, playing with kids outside, or anything to keep her little one busy!
Angelica - Business Assistant/Insurance Expert
Angelica joined our team in 2019 and has been in the dental field since 2009, starting as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant. The front of the office is where she enjoys helping patients focus on timely care for their dental needs, understanding the logistics of dental treatment, maximizing insurance benefits on behalf of patients and discussing financial options to decrease the patient’s out of pocket expenses. She believes the dental office should not be a place to fear and strives to be as helpful as possible, going above and beyond for the patient and their needs.
Outside of the office, Angelica loves being a “dog mom” to her Yorkie, Ripley, coaching youth soccer, jamming out to music at concerts, traveling, summers out on the lake, spending time with friends and family, as well as being a sushi connoisseur.
